For the Love of a Goblin Warrior (Shadowlands, 3), Shona Husk
Nadine has always been told the stories of the Goblin King. As an adult she has nightmares about the Shadowlands, ever since her father supposedly killed her mother.
Meryn has been given a second chance, no longer a goblin he is once again human and not sure if he wants to be a warrior for his king. He will protect Nadine the woman who makes him want to feel again, after losing all he ever loved. He has to adjust to this new world and fight the Shadows that followed him.
Bookswagger Marcia: Three Crowns, I always love a read that gives me a multicultural heroine without being too obvious about it or making race the plot. Shona Husk did this very well. I had no problem following the series, she sprinkled backstory in like a pro. I was interested in the story enough to finish it in one sitting. I kept waiting for something. This is not an action packed paranormal read, don’t get me wrong this is a paranormal romance. It is more about the couple’s interaction with each other while Meryn tries to adjust to this new world. He interacts very little with the Shadowlands, all of it is mostly in dreams or hallucinations. Nice read, I ain’t mad at it.
