Bitter Disenchantment (Coveted Series Book #0.4), Shawntelle Madison

Agatha (Aggie) McClure is the alpha female, heir to her father’s pack although he would have prefered a boy. The next best thing is to marry her off to his pick as alpha to lead his pack and score some cool perks off the werewolf who wants to mate with his daughter.

Aggie did not count on falling for Victor her father’s choice, as her mate. Now she has to live with the consequences of her bad choice and fight for her freedom.

I did not read any reviews before I started this one, I figured it would be good since I like all the other books in the series. Well I was not prepared for the NO HEA. This is truly urban fantasy, we learn what brought Aggie to Natalya Stravinsky’s doorstep in New Jersey. You do not need to read the other books to understand this story since it is more of a prequel. I liked seeing Aggies life before New Jersey, I am ready for her HEA though.

So in closing I would think of this as a werewolf lifetime movie. Werewolf mates with father’s choice and tries to make the best of it, everyone around her thinks he is a catch but she now knows he is a bag of crazy and she will get away from this bag by any means necessary.

    I am currently reading Vampire Origins by Riley Banks. There are two hot and deadly vampires in the book and a few shifters. Of course, one of the vampires is evil, so that makes him hot and ICK. Alex hasn’t actually revealed himself as a yummy factor yet, but I know he has potential. He ate his flight attendant and pilot because they deceived him and tries his best to be a good “unperson”, so I know he’s eventually going to turn up the heat…michelle_willms@yahoo.com

    I’m reading James R. Tuck’s Blood and Bullets, but so far the hero hasn’t proved himself as hot as the guy on the cover. I’m a Curran (and Derek) fan, only another moth before magic Rises comes out.

    Love Shelly’s shifters. I’m rereading Eye of the Storm by Monette Michaels. Book 1 in her Security Specialists International series.

    I like Ren Maddox, Trey Maddox, Risto Smith, and the rest of the team from the Security Specialists International series by Monette Michaels. The are all so HOT and very deadly. They play for keeps.

    I just finished reading The Detective’s Lover by Aliyah Burke. An awesome read! I wasn’t able to put it down until I finished. It was a great balance between suspense and romance. The tense between Fallon and Ian was amazing.
