Lions, Tigers, and Sexy Bears Oh My!, Candace Havens

Book Description (provided) A Montana town where no one is who they seem….

Everything about runaway heiress Ainsley McLeon screamed trouble—from her luscious midnight locks to her Louboutin-clad toes.  Yet sexy, stoic bar owner Luc couldn’t deny the instant connection he felt to the tempting stranger…or the long-dead feelings she evoked.  She could work in his pub until her truck was fixed but after that she had to leave town for good.

Ainsley traveled with her own emotional baggage and there was no way she’d fall for the bear-tempered Luc…no matter how many passionate nights she spent in his bed or how safe she felt in his muscular arms. Can these two opposites find love in the middle of a blizzard, or will Luc’s darker side and Ainsley’s past catch up with them?

Bookswagger Marcia: Three Crowns, swagger jacked, decent read. I am a sucker for books based in small towns with a little something, something going on like a shifter community. Ainsley lucks out and finds herself stranded in a small shifter community while she is running for her life. And if her new hunky boss just happens to be a shifting bear who is an ex agent well all the better right. The best thing about this story were the dynamics between Ainsley and the community. I enjoyed her quirks as she dealt with life in a small shifter town and lusting after a bear.

Straight to the Swagger:  If you enjoy reading about the background and not just the main characters you might enjoy seeing Ainsley surprise these shifters. Oh and do not be alarmed Ainsley is not a spoiled brat, you will like her.

    • I know right, I would think I would be sick of shifters by now but I am not, if the vampires would stop being so antisocial I might read them a lot more as well it is just something about those small town communities that wheel me in.
