Keeping it hop, Hot in Handcuffs Blog Hop

With a hop title like Hot in Handcuffs you just have to write about the bad boys or dominant alpha heroes. I recently went on a hot and cuff them read hunt, reading Cherise Sinclair’s My Liege of Dark Haven and two short reads to get me through my day job the Blue Beast as I affectingly refer to it, A.J. Hamilton’s Billionaire Contract and Hottie by Jemi Alex and Tia Fanning.

My Liege of Dark Haven, if you have been following the Dark Haven series is about the big boss owner of Dark Haven, BDSM club and one scary dude. He lost his wife and lifetime submissive and has chosen to separate each part of his life. He has a woman for social events, one as a live in slave and another to play with at the club. In walks Abby, who had recently broken up with her boyfriend (the douche). She cannot afford the club fees so she becomes the club secretary, not knowing she will have the extra duty of filling in as The Lieges submissive for demonstrations. I really enjoyed this read; you get to catch up with past characters all though it is not overpowering or obnoxious so if you have never read the series you won’t be bothered.

In Billionaire Contract, Kristy is a sweet romance author who has been tasked with writing an erotic romance, by her new boss at her publishing house. Blake believes these books are where they are at and will help turn the company’s financials around. Unbeknownst to Kristy, Blake has a thing for cute curvy women and he sets her up in his vacation home to complete her writing and give her inspiration for her hot bedroom scene.

The next short story is Hottie and I really wished it was longer. Phoebe is trying to make it to the next state or at least the next town. She has to find a job after her live in boyfriend kicked her out. Her car breaks down and the hottest mechanic ever, Dane lets her know she will not be going anywhere in her car. The sparks definitely fly in this read, especially when Dane gets the hot tempered Phoebe in bed and refuses to let her go. Phoebe just had to break down in a town who believes the woman is the submissive and the man rules the roost and their number one priority is pleasing their woman.
