Why time travel especially 1963? Just not an era we see in romance books.

 I’ve always been interested in that era. When I write my books I tend to go for something different and given the relationship the heroine has with her grandfather this period seemed to work for this book.

 What was it like researching for Find Me, did you have to do anything different in preparation then you normally would for your previous contemporary non paranormal titles?

This one was different for me. Working in an era other than my own called for lots of extra research. When I shifted between times I had to remember that they didn’t have all of the modern technology we have today. Even the language was different in the sixties so keeping my hero in character was always front and center.

 What other time periods besides the ones we see now in romance like the ever popular regency would you like to see people travel back to as a reader?

I’ve always enjoyed time travel but I’m particularly interested in the fifties, sixties and seventies. As long as the period fits the story and feels realistic I enjoy reading any era. The whole concept of traveling back to a place in time intrigues me.

 Bookswagger Marcia: Three Crowns, swagger jacked, decent read. Have to give the author kudos for how she handled the time travel. Time travel romance can be a little tricky because of the whole, where will we live, your time or mine issue. I will not give it away but I like how the heroine basically spent the story taking her toothbrush between her time (today) and his time the 1960s. The 1960s had a lot going on (everything was not peachy in the US). The author did name drop Dr. King and JFK but had the heroine redirect the hero, when he wanted confirmation Dr. King’s efforts were successful, since she let slip we currently have a black president. Things like that kept the story interesting, just seeing how the author dealt with the heroines’ time travel in general.

As for romance between Dean and Riley it went from “Find me” to you are the one. Riley was able to find Dean by contacting her estranged Grandfather who just so happened to be Deans best-friend back in the day which led to the time travel, bam sparks there is something different about you, I like you, I love you.

Straight to the Swagger: Time travel romance with a spin that will allow you to keep a foot in both times, and a light romance, heavy hero and heroine interaction because contact with others could change the fabric of the world.
